Biography

2015

Beowulf began his competitive career in the Autumn season, playing as the roam for Vertigo Black. In Autumn Qualifier 1, Vertigo Black was knocked out by Team Rin in the round of 16, putting them in danger of not making the Autumn Live Championships. In Autumn Qualifier 2, Vertigo luckily made it to the round of 8, where they were eliminated by the future winners or the qualifier, VON Menace. At the Autumn finals, Veritgo finishes 5-6th, losing in the finals of the group 2 losers bracket to future Autumn Champions, Liberation X.

2016

In the Winter Season, Vertigo Black finished 5-8th in both the first and second qualifiers, losing to Alliance both times. However, finishing in the top 8 in both qualifiers was enough to qualify them for the Winter Live Championships for the second season in a row. There, Vertigo Black finished 7th-8th, losing to Hammers Kinetic in the second round.

In the Spring Season, Beowulf changed his name from 'xbeowulf11x' to 'Beowulf', and switched teams to Hammers Velocity where he became the substitute roam. Hammers Velocity started off the spring season with a 3rd place finish over reigning champs Team SoloMid in NA Spring Qualifier 1. Velocity then took first in NA Vainglory Master Series over Nemesis Excrucio. Velocity also took first in NA Spring Qualifier 2 over Excrucio (formerly Nemesis Excrucio), again qualifying Velocity to compete at the live championship.

At the NA Spring Live Championship, Hammers Velocity despite falling into the loser bracket took a convincing 3-1 victory in the Grand Finals, again over Phoenix Reign (formerly Excrucio).
