Biography

2016

e36 officially joined Liberation X as a substitute roam for martohhh after the team won the Autumn Live Championships, intending to split playtime. In the Winter Season, Sam became known for his Catherine play, and was often substituted in when the team intended to run compositions with Catherine in it. The winter season started off roughly for LibX, as they were majorly upset by much lower seeded Vainguard. They rebounded in the second qualifier, finishing fourth overall after losing to Hammers Velocity in the 3rd place match and again narrowly qualified for the Winter Live Championships. They rebounded in the second qualifier, finishing fourth overall after losing to Hammers Velocity in the 3rd place match and again narrowly qualified for the Winter Live Championships where they finished 5th-6th.

In the Spring Season, e36 remained on the roster and took on the role of starting roam. In the first qualfiier, they were knocked out in the round of 8 against Gankstars Sirius. The second qualifier was very similar, as LibX finished 5-8th again, losing to TSM in the round of 8. With those performances, Liberation X qualified for the Spring Live Championships but finished 7-8th due to their starting laner, PONtheoriginal being unable to travel to the live event.

Following the Spring Season, Liberation X disbanded and e36 switched teams to Phoenix Reign along with his brother Statusbaked. Sam started the Summer Season as a substitute behind starting roamer Ezadox, but began starting when Ezadox retired. e36 took the starting position in stride, and became known in the community for his exceptional Phinn and Catherine play. Reign finished Evil Eight Split 2 in second place, giving them the second seed going into the Summer Live championships.
