Biography

Keanu "KeanuNakoa" Kramer was born in near Frankfurt am Main, Germany on the 14th of December, 1996. KeanuNakoa finshed school in 2016 and is currently a full-time Vainglory professional player.

KeanuNakoa started playing Vainglory in March 2015 during season zero, just before the release of the hero Vox. KeanuNakoa hit POA gold during season zero.

Vainglory Career

2016

KeanuNakoa co-founded Rising Lotus in March 2016 with ryuren. A few weeks later KeanuNakoa scouted Hundor, where they competed EU VGL Spring 2016 Qualifier 1. In June, some of KeanuNakoa's teammates at Rising Lotus received temporary bans, leaving KeanuNakoa without a team roster.

KeanuNakoa had good relationships with players on mousesports, so in June mousesports offered KeanuNakoa a temporary substitute role on the team, which he took.

Rising Lotus continued to compete in the challenger series, making their way into the EU Evil Eight - Summer 2016 Challenge Battles 2. Luckily for the team, their opponent Team Supremacy were unable to field a roster and Rising Lotus were granted automatically entry into the Evil Eight. Rising Lotus were still suffering roster issues due to the temporary bans, so didn't perform very well at the EU Summer 2016 Championship finishing in last place, however, the team were so excited to be in the Evil Eight that the results of the Live Championship held no importance to them.

Just before the start of the EU Evil Eight - Autumn 2016 Split 1, the temporary bans were lifted and Rising Lotus were allowed to field their full roster. In their debut split, Rising Lotus finished 3rd. KeanuNakoa moved into the team manager role during split 2, as he couldn't commit the hours needed for professional play at the time. Rising Lotus struggled to perform during split 2, and faced relegation in the EU Evil Eight - Autumn 2016 Challenge Battles 2, so KeanuNakoa stepped back into the starting roster to defend their Evil Eight spot against Fluffy Chickens 3-0.

During the off-season, KeanuNakoa received word from Hundor that G2 wanted him to play for them. KeanuNakoa left Rising Lotus on the 21st December.

2017

At the beginning of January, KeanuNakoa officially joined the G2 Esports team as their Roam. This was a role swap, as KeanuNakoa had played Lane up until now competitively.

Trivia

  • The name Keanu is Hawaiian and means "the cold wind from the mountains". Nakoa means "the brave one" in Hawaiian as well.
  • KeanuNakoa accidently used Skye's Forward Barrage backwards in a competitive match, and since then players refer to a backwards Forward Barrage as a 'Keanu'
